One factor, not two: the code texted to this number is the whole check. There is no staff PIN and no authenticator app — neither exists in this system, so neither is asked for here. Treat your phone as the key to the till: anyone holding it can start your shift, and every release and every cash entry is recorded against your account.

Three roles, and your own login for each. OPERATOR: queue, print, QC, release against code and phone, record cash — no prices, no refunds, no money sign-off. MANAGER: the above plus prices, configuration, refunds, daily reconciliation sign-off. OWNER: the above plus creating and removing staff accounts. Signing in on somebody else’s number records the wrong person, so there is no shared login to borrow.
